My name is Patti Martell. I was born and raised in Port Jervis, NY. When my husband & I married in 1989, I first moved to Sullivan County where we resided in Glen Spey, NY. For over 30 years now, I have lived in Sullivan County with my family and enjoyed such unique experiences there; like going for quiet walks in the woods and seeing the abundance of wildlife right outside your door! There is such a peace and quietness to be found, helping residents to relax and unwind. It is beautiful watching the changing seasons that are afforded by Sullivan County with the picturesque landscape all around you. It is truly something to behold.

I worked for a few years in the insurance industry, followed by over 30 years working in our family construction business; handling customer relations, sales, insurance, and employee management, among some of the various skills I have acquired. Being self employed has taught me how to communicate with people and understand their ultimate goals and visions for their real estate needs. I tend to be a realist and a problem solver, looking to move forward into the next chapter, while sorting out different options available to do so. I have learned that people matter, kindness speaks volumes and to be patient in life. Laughter and a simple smile can go a long way.

My husband and I have a son & a daughter that we raised in our log home, nestled in the woods of Glen Spey. We were pleased with the local school system that our children attended & have made many good friends within the community, during the time that our children attended instruction there. We are animal lovers with 1 dog & 4 cats currently abiding with us. Our love of animals adds to our enjoyment of being in Sullivan County because we often see deer, turkeys, foxes, racoons, many varieties of birds, and yes, even a few bears.

Sullivan County has been a hidden gem for so many years and currently so many people are now beginning to realize what we have known for so long.
